Alhamdulillah, the was successfully conducted on –, . The event was organized by Japan Islamic Trust (JIT), Otsuka Mosque in cooperation with Tokyo Camii. This year, we introduced a ‘Qualification Round’ held online on 26th Dec 2021. More than have participated in Level 1 (half-Juzuh), Level 2 (one-Juzuh), Level 3 (two-Juzuh), and Level 4 (five-Juzuh) categories. Although most of the contestants were of a high standard, we selected the top 10 contestants from each category and invited them to attend the final round at Tokyo Camii. As usual, with tight competition and standard judging criteria, we selected 3 winners from each category. Grand prizes of ‘Umrah Ticket’ were awarded to a 13-year-old girl, winner of Level 7 (memorized whole Quran) and ‘Turkey Ticket’ to a boy, winner of Level 6 (memorized half Quran).

By the mercy of Allah, the hybrid event both online and offline went smoothly and successfully. We look forward to seeing you all next year, Insha Allah. We thank volunteers, judges, parents, and Tokyo Camii for their enormous support. May Allah accept our deeds from you and us, Ameen.
