Shahada (Muslim declaration of faith)
أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأشهد أن محمد رسول الله
(I testify that there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is Allah’s apostle)
Assalaam Alaikum
At Japan Islamic Trust (Masjid Otsuka ) We had the opportunity to hold a Shahada ceremony recently.
They were two Shahadas from a married couple who would soon be 80 years old.
Alhamdulillah they peacefully declared the islamic faith from start to finish.
At our Otsuka Masjid, we often hold the Shahada ceremony and issue Shahada certificate / Muslim card.
