This year, we have invited Sheikh Mohammad Al Naqwi from Kuwait and Sheikh Ahmad Maeno from Japan as a special guest to speak on the theme of “prophetic teaching in contemporary world.”

15.15–15.45: Asar prayer and coffee break

15.45–17.15: session 2 (sheikh Muhammad Al Naqwi)

■JMPF Prophet Seminar Overview

This academic seminar is held annually with the cooperation of the University of Tokyo Islamic Culture Studies Society (TUICS) with the aim of introducing the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (saw) to the Japanese people and exchanging opinions.

This seminar, held at the University of Tokyo every year, consists of a panel discussion by young Muslims and invited lectures by prominent Islamic scholars. Every year we invite one Japanese speaker and one abroad speaker. The official language of this seminar is Japanese. English talk also will be translated into Japanese.
