Report of homeless support at Ikebukuro (Dec 27, 2015)
Jan 9, 2015
We had a soup kitchen on 27th December under the cold weather.
This was held as a part of the 6-day over-the-winter support of NPO Tenohasi.
We served 489 meals of vegetable curry (prepared by the restaurant “Niningayon” in Shimokitazawa) to 196 homeless people, who helped themselves over and over.

Serving Hot Meals to the Homeless in Ikebukuro (2014.10.11)
Oct 11, 2014
On10/11, we served hot meals to the homeless people in Ikebukuro as part of the celebration of Eid Al-Adha.
Over 250 people participated. Meals were prepared for 500 people . we were glad to see the people enjoyed the meal though all people could not get the second helping.
The mosque served beef curry, chai, and pound cakes and pudding for dessert.
From TENOHASI, delicious vegetables seasoned with salt were prepared.
I would like to thank again all the volunteers from the mosque (12 children, 20 adults) for helping out.
The next meal serving will be held on 12/27.
Comment from a woman volunteering for her first time

Date: 2014/10/11 (Sat.)
Place: East-Ikebukuro central park (next to Sunshine)
