at Tsuhara Camp Site, Yamanashi

Assalamu’alaikum wr. wb.

Now is the time for the 8th Masjid Otsuka Islamic Camp. We will go in Chartered Bus . Start from Masjid Otsuka 8:00AM on July 17. Camp will be held at “Tsuhara Camp Site” in Yamanashi prefecture. We come back to Masjid Otsuka around 5:00PM July 19. InshaAllah.

We took into account opinions of the people who participated in our Camps in the past years. There are a lot of programs that everybody can enjoy.

¡ö Talk and lectures by Sheikh Yousef Sanad, Sheikh Badar Al Romaidi from Kuwait, Sheikh Dr Mesfer Al Qahtani from Saudi Arabia and one scholar from Pakistan.

¡ö Enjoying Hiking, Boating, Games and Barbeque.

Islamia International School
Community Center

The total cost of the project for a nine storeybuilding is Yen 72,240,000.
With the completion of new project, we hope to attract Japanese parents who are anxious to educate their children at International Schools. We have acquired the plot of land adjacent to Masjid Otsuka and have drawn plans to build Islamia International School which is needed very badly by the community.
We wish to start with the first phase which includes the full payment of the land and construction of 2 storey building for starting Tahfeez ul Quran and basic Islamic teaching for the children. Site for Islamia International School.

Islamic School

Otsuka Masjid is running an Islamic School for the muslim children in order to educate them with basic Islamic rituals and code of life following the Quran and Hadith.

Regular Islamic Teaching

Masjid is regularly organizing lectures on Quran and Hadith.

Arabic Language Class

Learning and Understanding the Quran is one of the essentials to be a good muslim. Arabic language class is being held to learn Arabic.

Muslim Marriage Registration

Masjid is offering marriage registration service to the muslim brothers and sisters who want to get married in Japan.

Family Counseling

If you would like to discuss about family affairs specially difficulties of being a new muslim in Japan or amicable settlement of marriage etc. the Masjid can be of your assistance.

Burial Assistance

When JIT is informed of death of a Muslim we discuss funeral arrangements with family or friends of the deceased. Some like to send the dead body to their home countries and others like to burry in Japan. JIT is trying to build a graveyard in Ashikaga City.

Refugee Assistance Program

During calamities and disaster happened in different countries the masjid runs donation collection program.Ê

Halal Food Certification

Masjid has the authorization to check and certify for halal foods.

Social Activities

Masjid has several social activities like arranging summer camp as an outdoor activity with family and kids during summer vacation.
